Dog Care Provider - Full-Time Position

PawPawPaw LLC is a fast growing pet service company based in the Greater Boston area, serving a community of 150+ loyal clients. We are dedicated to providing thoughtful, reliable, and personalized care for dogs and their families.

We are currently looking for one full-time Dog Care Provider to join our team. This role focuses primarily on hands-on dog care, with approximately 10–20% of time supporting business development or operational projects as the company grows.

Start date: As soon as possible

Location: Boston and Bellingham, MA

Schedule:

  • Approximately 40 hours per week

  • Typically 4 work days per week, about 10 hours per shift

  • Some overtime opportunities may be available

  • Weekly schedule is discussed during team meetings, allowing some flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up dogs from owners’ homes in the Boston area and transport them safely to our Bellingham daycare location, and return them to owners at the end of the day

  • Care for dogs staying at our Bellingham boarding facility, including feeding, cleaning, supervising playtime, and maintaining a safe environment

  • Monitor dogs’ behavior and overall wellbeing while in our care

  • Communicate with clients and send regular updates about their dogs

  • Spend approximately 10–20% of time assisting with operational and business initiatives, which may include customer relationship management, marketing and social media support, merchandise design projects, and supply chain coordination as PawPawPaw continues to grow.

Who We’re Looking For:

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Love dogs (seriously — ours are amazing)

  • Have experience caring for dogs (personal or professional experience welcome)

  • Are comfortable driving and have a valid driver’s license

  • Have strong communication and customer interaction skills

  • Are responsible, patient, and attentive

  • Are flexible and able to adapt in a small team environment

No prior professional dog-care experience is required. Training will be provided.

  • Computer Science / Data / Tech

  • Other social science or STEM fields will also be considered

Compensation:

$15/hour during the initial 3-month training period, increasing to $20/hour after successful completion of training.
